Welcome to the Rotary Club of Izmir-Cigli, TURKEY 
Founded in 1996 in District 2440, The Rotary Club of Izmir-Cigli has today 35 Rotarian members.
Cigli is a fast growing suburban town of Metropole-City, Izmir (3 millions inhabitants) at the
northern border of the city. The south and west side is neighbored by the Aegian Sea.
The Bird Paradise is neighbored on the North. Our Club has aimed to contribute to the protection
and introduction of this National Park. Among other Club projects, there are contributions
to the local primary-education schools, scolarships for the students, courses for illitarate
adults, to afforest the neigboring vacant areas...Cigli has also a future-oriented growing
industry zone with nearly 500 different production facilities, employing 30,000 .
